A message from Johnathan Morin: “During my 4 day traditional fast in jasper this last may I met some elders that teach at maskwacis college and they were talking about how they were having to teach in rooms with mould and how the building was shutting down because of damages and how badly they needed funding and donations. These elders also fasted and were so strong and inspiring to me. Having friends that grew up in maskwacis as well made this decision quite easy for me as I believe everyone deserves a safe place to receive education and access to cultural teachings.”
